Ford is further expanding the availability of BlueCruise in Europe, to enable hands-free highway driving for more customers demonstrating how we are innovating with a purpose and delivering excellence. This marks the third European country to authorize the usage of BlueCruise in addition to Great Britain and Germany. It is also available in the U.S. and Canada.

Earlier this year, BlueCruise became the first advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that delivers true hands-free driving at highway speeds in Europe when it received approval in Great Britain. Approval for use in Germany and Spain quickly followed.

There are more than 260,000 BlueCruise-equipped Ford and Lincoln vehicles on the road globally. Customers have also spent over 1.8 million hours enjoying and using BlueCruise and have driven 125 million hands-free miles and counting.

Customers with BlueCruise-equipped vehicles are able to use the feature on designated highways called Blue Zones. BlueCruise helps make driving easier and more enjoyable, especially for long trips or daily commutes in traffic.
