Sterling Axle Plant

  • Hourly employees: 2,171
  • 67 Sterling Axle Plant employees asked not to report to work beginning Oct. 23 because of the strike at Kentucky Truck Plant
  • This brings Sterling Axle’s layoff total to 485
  • Produces rear axle for Ford Super Duty and front and rear axles for Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator for Kentucky Truck Plant

Rawsonville Components Plant

  • Hourly employees: 579
  • 10 employees asked not to report to work beginning Oct. 23; 45 laid off beginning Oct. 16 because of the strike at Chicago Assembly Plant and Kentucky Truck Plant
  • Produces HEV-C battery for Ford Explorer Police Units, carbon canister and air induction systems for Chicago Assembly Plant
  • Produces Ford Super Duty air induction, carbon canisters and 10R140 oil pump; and air induction and carbon canisters for Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator for Kentucky Truck Plant

Sharonville Transmission Plant

  • Hourly employees: 1,601
  • 354 employees asked not to report to work beginning Oct. 23; 306 laid off beginning Oct. 16 because of the strike at Kentucky Truck Plant
  • Produces 10R100 / 10R140 transmission for Ford Super Duty

Chicago Stamping Plant

  • Hourly employees: 1,044
  • 12 laid off beginning Oct. 16 because of the strike at Kentucky Truck Plant
  • Produces aluminum body structure components for Ford Super Duty, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator for Kentucky Truck Plant
  • 243 laid off since Sept. 30 because of the strike at Chicago Assembly Plant
  • Produces stamped parts and sub-assembly for Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator for Chicago Assembly Plant

Dearborn Stamping Plant

  • Hourly employees: 1,565
  • 100 laid off beginning Oct. 16 because of the strike at Kentucky Truck Plant
  • Produces body structure and surface panels for Ford Super Duty, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator

Dearborn Diversified Manufacturing Plant

  • Hourly employees: 724
  • 65 laid off beginning Oct. 16 because of the strike at Kentucky Truck Plant
  • Performs hydroforming and heat treat for Super Duty trucks

Chicago Assembly Plant

  • Hourly employees: 4,613 on strike since Sept. 29
  • Assembles Ford Explorer, Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Lincoln Aviator – production of those vehicles is halted

Cleveland Engine Plant

  • Hourly employees: 1,607
  • 372 laid off since Oct. 9 because of the strike at Chicago Assembly Plant
  • Produces 2.3L engine for Ford Explorer

Kentucky Truck Plant

  • Hourly employees: 8,699 on strike since the evening of Oct. 11
  • Assembles Ford Super Duty, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator – production of those vehicles is halted

Lima Engine Plant

  • Hourly employees: 1,403
  • 94 laid off since Oct. 9 and 90 laid off since Oct. 2 because of the strike at Chicago Assembly Plant
  • Produces 3.0L and 3.3L engines for Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator

Livonia Transmission Plant

  • Hourly employees: 2,703
  • 71 laid off since Oct. 9 and 320 laid off since Oct. 5 because of the strike at Chicago Assembly Plant
  • Produces 10R transmissions for Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator

Michigan Assembly Plant

  • Hourly employees: 4,626
  • 3,300 employees from final assembly and paint on strike since Sept. 15
  • 600 employees from the body and construction department and south sub-assembly area of integrated stamping are laid off since Sept. 15 because the components they build use materials that must be e-coated for protection in Michigan Assembly Plant’s paint department, which is on strike
  • Assembles Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger – production of those vehicles is halted
