It’s a rare treat to work with fellow alumni from one’s college days post-graduation. Sharing university stories, rooting for the same sports teams and remembering restaurant staples from the campus town – most college graduates carry these memories with them throughout their lives.
A group of design school graduates from the University of Cincinnati not only share in some of the same undergraduate stories – they shared a vision for Ford’s all-new 2021 F-150. Kenny Moore, Ford exterior design manager, Josh Henry, Ford senior designer and Raleigh Haire, Ford exterior designer, used their learnings from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) to lead the exterior design of America’s best-selling vehicle.
Moore, Henry and Haire, who all graduated with bachelor of science degrees in industrial design, found their design education each began in a unique way. Moore graduated in 1995, but he remembers a high school counselor telling him the only way he could make money as an artist was in architecture.
