Canadians Embrace New Full-Size Utilities from Ford and Lincoln

Ford Remains Number One Selling Automotive Brand

OAKVILLE, Ont. – Following their highly anticipated debuts, the completely redesigned Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator are a hit with Canadian consumers, with sales of both full-size utility vehicles increasing in September. The Expedition, along with the first-ever Ford EcoSport, are the first new additions in the transformation of Ford’s product lineup.

“Consumers are moving towards vehicles that provide more versatility, and Ford is well positioned for this shift with Canada’s top-selling lineup of trucks and utility vehicles,” said Mark Buzzell, president and CEO, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd. “We’re in the midst of enhancing our product portfolio to provide Canadians with even more choice and to better address the attributes they’ve told us they value most.”

Lincoln Navigator, the flagship vehicle of the luxury brand and instrumental to its turn around, has been a hit with consumers since launch. Sales of Navigator have more than doubled year-to-date.
