Ford will be sharing what we think is one of the most important parts of beginning to build the City of Tomorrow, from where it starts, at the ground level – on the living street at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, beginning with the event’s opening keynote on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
President and CEO Jim Hackett will deliver the address beginning at noon Dearborn time. He will discuss Ford’s commitment to solve humanity’s mobility challenges, as we introduce smart vehicles into an increasingly smart and connected world, as well as a larger vision about how we can make our streets work better for everyone.
Hackett will be joined onstage by Executive Vice President and President of Mobility Marcy Klevorn and Jim Farley, executive vice president and president of Global Markets, as well as Executive Director of Connected Vehicle and Services, Don Butler. Executive Chairman Bill Ford will host a fireside chat, as well.
The City of Tomorrow’s living street will come to life in Ford’s main display space. This will be a hands-on experience that will showcase ingenuity, passion, art, culture and the evolution of urban mobility in what we believe will be invaluable in cities of the future. The annual consumer technology trade show, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, features nearly 300 vehicle technology exhibitors, including Ford. The show is the world’s largest annual gathering for consumer technologies.
