Ford of Mexico Donates Food Pantries to Communities in Need

Since April 27, Ford of Mexico has supported Mexican families that are going through difficult moments during the COVID 19 quarantine through “Proyecto México”  by manufacturing facial shields for healthcare workers on the front line of the company.

Ford has also supported communities without access to food and with the help of their employees has raised 460 food pantries. Each item was carefully selected based on a nutritional value of families of 5 to 8 members, resulting in 16 essential products for the families that need it the most.

Deliveries will be made in partnership with United Way, through its subsidiary in Mexico, Fondo Unido, who will be responsible of bringing each of these pantries to communities in a fleet that Ford has specifically arranged for this noble activity.
