It’s happening this weekend – MeetingPlace audio conferencing will be taken out of service on Jan. 12.
There are just two days left to avoid business disruption by converting to the WebEx with WebEx Audio service, which replaces MeetingPlace.
Have you completed the top three action items below to ensure you’re ready?
1. Obtain your pre-assigned WebEx Personal Conferencing host and attendee ID numbers at http://ford.webex.com. Under the “My WebEx” tab, select “Personal Conferencing” from the left menu. See how to locate your audio access codes. Once you retrieve your new codes, you can simply use them for adhoc and planned audio conference calls just as you did before.
2. Convert all existing MeetingPlace meetings to a WebEx Personal Conferencing (audio-only) meeting. Here is a helpful migration tool to locate and convert recurring meetings.
3. Schedule all new audio meetings by clicking the WebEx “Add Personal Conference” icon from your Outlook ribbon to automatically insert the meeting information into your notice. Click here for more scheduling tips. Note: If you do not see this icon, follow thesesteps to activate the WebEx productivity tools.
