DEARBORN - Ford’s new Go Further television advertising campaign enters its second week tonight.
As you may recall, the first week of ads were deliberately unbranded – the idea being to let the design, fuel economy, technology and quality of the company’s newest vehicles speak for themselves. The strategy was very successful, with the ads garnering a whopping 1.2 million views on YouTube in less than seven days.
Tonight the branded ads begin. They have a similar look, tone and feel to the first week of advertising but the vehicles featured in the spots bear the distinctive blue Ford oval and Ford is revealed as the company that “goes further” for its customers. These ads will air in a big media push for an additional six weeks.
