U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Acknowledges Ford’s Recognition as ‘Most Trusted Brand’

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

DEARBORN - After Ford was recently recognized by YouGov’s BrandIndex as America’s most trusted brand for mid-year 2013, the company received public congratulations from the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC).

“For over a century, Ford Motor Company has been one of the world’s most iconic brands.  It comes as no surprise that this honor is being presented to Ford following its most profitable quarter in over a decade.  Ford’s success has been measured by its worldwide expansion, innovation, and now by its first place ranking as the most trusted brand in the United States,” said Javier Palomarez, president and CEO, USHCC.

“Ford’s success is grounded in its unwavering commitment to building quality products, utilizing a diverse supply chain and cultivating unrivaled consumer loyalty.  The USHCC is proud to call Ford Motor Company a true friend of our Association,” he said.

Hispanics are an important consumer group for Ford.  Not only are they the fastest growing population in the U.S. but the percentage of volume growth in the Hispanic segment outpaces that of the overall industry by 10 percent.

David Mondragón, general marketing manager for Ford and Lincoln, says the acknowledgement by the USHCC is very meaningful to the company.

“The Chamber is not only an influential and respected voice among the Hispanic community but a national leader,” he said.  “Their recognition gives another dimension to this achievement.”

Mondragón says Ford’s work with the USHCC is paramount in creating a strong connection with the Hispanic community.

“Our commitment to Hispanic consumers, offering fuel-efficient vehicles with technology and quality that enrich their lives, is an important part of being the most trusted company in the United States,” he said.
