BRENTWOOD, England – Ford B-MAX has been voted Best Small MPV of 2013 by UK motoring website Carsite.co.uk.
B-MAX received special praise for its innovative B-pillar-less bodyshell, sharp driving dynamics and outstanding fuel economy.
“By removing the B-pillars, Ford has created a fantastically practical small MPV which easily bests any of its class rivals,” said Carsite.co.uk. “The huge opening between A- and C-pillars makes entry and egress a doddle, and those sliding doors remove the worry of clonking the car next to you in a multi-storey car park. On top of this, the B-MAX, like all Fords, is a hoot to drive thanks to its sharp steering and well-sorted chassis. Ford's fantastic EcoBoost engine is also on offer, delivering strong performance while returning astonishing fuel economy and CO2 figures.
“The B-MAX really does take the compact MPV market to the next level, and for this reason it has to be our Small MPV of the Year.”
