NEW YORK - To reenact a publicity feat conducted nearly 50 years ago when the first Mustang convertible was unveiled, Ford once again took to getting an all-new Mustang convertible atop the Empire State Building. Due to the complexity of the location, neither cranes nor helicopters could be used to place the full vehicle 86 floors up. The time lapse video below chronicles how the car had to be separated into sections, transported via elevator to the observatory and then reassembled.
