VALENCIA, Spain – Ford of Spain’s Plan Adapta mobility roadshow has arrived in Valencia, the home of Ford vehicle and component manufacture in the country.
Plan Adapta is a pioneering initiative between Ford, its dealer network and the ONCE charitable foundation to enable people with disabilities to try before they buy an adapted vehicle.
The roadshow started in Madrid last month and will visit 15 cities by the time it concludes in June. After Valencia, it moves next month to Murcia, Sevilla, Badajoz and Toledo.
At each location, a range of Ford vehicles is displayed with technical adaptions making them suitable for use by people with disabilities. Potential buyers are then able to inspect and test the vehicles prior to purchase.
The Valencia event was hosted by D. Alberto Fabra, president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Rita Barbera, the mayor of Valencia, and José Manuel Machado, president of Ford Spain.
