This week, Ford returned to New Media Expo for the fourth year in a row. Formerly known as BlogWorld Expo, it’s been a place where we’ve recruited for past programs like Focus Rally and Escape Routes, where we’ve showcased vehicles like the 2010 Taurus, 2011 Focus, 2012 Focus Electric and the breathtaking 2013 Fusion.
But we’re also there because it represents a significant opportunity for us to meet and build relationships with some of the influencers in the online space: bloggers, video journalists and other online content creators who think and tell stories differently than the traditional media. We also use it as an opportunity to learn about the latest trends, platforms and buzzworthy online destinations in order to ensure that we’re remaining relevant to our intended audiences and that we’re listening to their feedback.
