Safety Award for European Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering Team

DATE: Will be calculated from "Release Start Date" field.

DUNTON, England – The European PTME (Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering) team has been recognised for achieving a significant safety milestone – the completion of three years without a lost-time accident.

Marking that success, the Safety Achievement Award has been presented to Dunton-based Kieran Cahill, director, PTOME, Ford of Europe, by Dirk Heller, director, Powertrain Operations, Ford of Europe.

“This is an incredible achievement and I want to thank each and every one of the team for their dedication to making safety a priority in everything they do,” said Kieran Cahill. “We will continue to operate a zero tolerance to unsafe practices both within the plants that we work in and also the office environment in Dunton.”

Dirk Heller added: “The team has implemented world class safety operating systems and practices that ensure the well-being of employees and contractors partners as they undertake an ever-increasing workload in our Powertrain plants.”
