LONDON, England – The S-Max was named Best MPV at last week's 2010 Fleet News Awards.
The award judges commented: "Good design, practical, high quality, flexible and driver appeal ensure the S-Max retains its MPV crown. This car allows people to choose a people carrier without feeling like they are driving a big car."

In a second success for Ford, the company's Easy Fuel refuelling system was named Best Technical Innovation. Easy Fuel prevents petrol from being put into a diesel-engined vehicle.
More than 150,000 misfuelling cases are reported annually in the UK, which the Automobile Association estimates costs private motorists and fleets £24 million a year.
The Easy Fuel system consists of a sealed filler pipe insert and a fuel nozzle locator that guides the nozzle to the tank opening. The insert contains an automatic diameter detector with multi-sensors which only allow larger diesel nozzles to be inserted.
