Go Further
December 2012
“Go Further” is Ford’s global brand promise.  A brand promise simplifies a company’s culture and what makes a company different in the consumer world with the products and services it offers.
A strong business knows what it stands for when it’s at its best and Ford’s promise is this, we always strive for better. It’s quite literally in our DNA. Not just to find new solutions, but to make them accessible to everyone. To give all mankind the opportunity to go wherever and do whatever they want, however they want to do it.

We go further so that you can.

At Rawsonville, going further is our commitment to safely producing the best quality products in order to be leaders in the industry for every product we manufacture and assemble. Rawsonville wants every employee to understand that they are empowered to make a real difference in our plant and our company.  And it doesn’t stop there.  Go Further also inspires our employees to make people’s lives better in our communities.  We strive to create a better world for our families and future generations.

Going further means never stopping. Never resting on our laurels, nor ever giving up.

By going further, the car has become much more than anyone may have dreamed a century ago. Proof that even our imagination is no limit to what’s possible. Because when you go further, you see how much further you can go.

Submit your Go Further Story here and read Ford employee's stories from across the globe!

Rawsonville IT Announcement:
Updated Oct. 25, 2012
Rawsonville recently went through a Core IP Telephony Infrastructure migration. The core IP Telephony infrastructure that supported the Americas is no longer supported (both hardware and software).  Therefore, we needed to move Rawsonville off of the old platform and onto the new upgraded infrastructure. This process was completed today at 5 a.m. to avoid impacting the plant.  A couple of things were fixed that did not previously work at the Rawsonville Plant:
  • 5-digit dialing to site extensions – just dial the last 5-digits of the phone number
  • 7-digit dialing to any other Ford facility.  For 7-digit (Ford NET) dialing, you must dial 9-1-(7 digit)

Thank you,
Rawsonville IT
