BRENTWOOD, England – Proud supporter Ford will be playing a starring role in Brighton Pride, one of Britain’s biggest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) festivals which takes place on Saturday.
Each year a bumper crowd of more than 100,000 people attend this famous event which includes a colourful parade through Brighton’s streets, followed by live music and arts in Brighton’s Preston Park.
The theme for Brighton Pride 2014 is “The World’s A Disco”, and Ford will reflect this a parade of vehicles including Freddie XL (Freddie Mercury), Kuga Kylie (Kylie Minogue) and EcoSport Elton (Elton John).
“Our ongoing support for this event demonstrates Ford's commitment to diversity and tolerance, and to our Employee Resource Group, Ford GLOBE (Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual Employees), said Jane Skerry, HR director, Ford of Britain.
