FORT WORTH -- Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Ford Fusion, has an affinity for Texas Motor Speedway. With a pair of top-5 finishes, including a 2006 victory at the mile-and-a-half track under his belt, Kahne talked with Ford Racing about looking forward to one of his favorite tracks and spoiler expectations in the Lone Star state.

Q. ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO TEXAS?
A. Yeah, I can’t wait for Texas. To me, it is one of the best tracks we go to. The fans are great, the facilities are awesome and everyone treats you great there. We have won there in the past and qualified well and I really look forward to having a great race there.

Q. WHAT DO YOU ANTICIPATE IN REGARD TO THE SPOILER AT TEXAS?
A. I am looking forward to it. Some of the cars have already tested there and they didn’t say there was a huge difference, but once we get racing together and a lot of cars on the track, I think we are going to all learn more than what we know now. I am looking forward to that to see what it changes. It has to change something when you are around 42 other cars, what that is we don’t know yet, but I am anxious to find out.
