OHAP's Angel Tree Intiaitve
Each year, members of UAW Local 2000 and employees of Ford's Ohio Assembly have made sure that many of those in need have a present to open during the holiday season
For more than 15 years, our employees have particpated in this program and ensured that a child's Christmas will be a bit brighter. This year, over 200 children will wake up Christmas morning with a gift thanks to to the thoughfulness of our workforce.
Please check out the December 18th, 2012 edition of the Chronicle-Telegram to see the paper's coverage of our plant's support.
Thank you again for your continued support and generosity.
Each year, Ford recognizes Veterans Day as a special holiday to say thanks to those who have served the United States at home and abroad.
On November 14th and 15th of this year, the Veteran’s Committee of UAW Local 2000 gave special gifts to all it’s membership in special remembrance of this important holiday.
Additionally, Veterans also received an item of appreciation for their service to our Country.
Tim Rowe, Chairman, UAW Local 2000, said, “I am glad we were able to put this together for our Vets. They have done so much and sacrificed so much defending our Country and our beliefs around the world. I believe this is the least we could do – and I personally thank them for all they have done.”
While Veteran's Day has passed, don't forget to thank someone you know who has served this great Country and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
