To respond quicker to customer inquires regarding the new Focus ST and Ford Sport Technologies, JD Tang, director, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford China and Rainey He, a Changan Ford CTCC champion driver, joined the online web-chat to directly address questions from interested customers.
A lot questions directed to Rainey He were centered on the ST’s road performance, handling and his personal feelings and advice after test-driving a Focus ST. When asked about the uniqueness of the new Focus ST compared to competitors’ models, he said that the new Focus ST was built as a genuine performance car with a more powerful, specially tuned EcoBoost engine and a six-speed manual transmission that allows it to deliver a superior driving and handling experience to performance car lovers. He also emphasized that compared to race cars which barely have any driver assistance features, the Focus ST strikes a perfect balance between an unrivalled driving experience and every day driving.
Responding to a question on whether the new Focus ST sold in China would have the same high-quality as models sold in other markets, JD Tang said the new Focus ST, as a global high performance car, will be sold in China as an imported model made in Europe and will have the same quality as products sold in any other markets.
Equipped with the award winning 2.0 L EcoBoost Engine, the new Focus ST is expected to achieve 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.5 seconds.
