Mobile applications have made the world more connected and life easier. With its redesign and enhanced capabilities, the MyLincoln Mobile app makes owning a Lincoln easier by elevating personal service.
The modem built into the all-new Lincoln MKC, paired with MyLincoln Touch, puts Lincoln convenience into the hands of owners.
“In addition to remote lock and unlock and vehicle GPS-based locator, we offer a class-exclusive scheduled remote start,” said Kelly Zechel, product manager, MyLincoln. “It is really for the structured person that leaves for work at the same time every morning and wants their car to be warm or cool when they walk out the door.”
Other technologies found in the MKC and the new MyLincoln Touch include location services – where a user of the app can launch a map and find their vehicle instead of starting an alarm to find it in a parking lot or getting confused about where they parked it when leaving an event. Parking meter reminders push alerts to a driver’s mobile device when the time on a meter is running out to avoid a ticket.
Lastly, imagine being ready to go home from a long work day and you want your car to be warm or cool when you get to it? The new modem allows drivers to remote start their car from anywhere in the world at the touch of an app.
For Lincoln, the perception of luxury was the driver, moving owners away from the traditional key fob to a more personalized experience that they’ve never had before.
The application also will also get a refresh next year with a new look and more capabilities.
