Gunnar Herrmann, vice president, Quality, Ford of Europe, is a massive Ford Mustang fan and he drove a 5.0-litre V8 convertible in the 1990s. Here, he fondly recalls a five-day high speed driving course in a Mustang in Arizona, and explains why the Mustang sound stirs his soul. “The engine is music,” he says. “It’s an orchestra. It’s just perfect!”
