Speaking about the test drive, Trương Kim Phong, marketing manager, Ford Vietnam said, "Raising the profile of the Mondeo and showcasing its many features was the objective of the test drive campaign. Impressively smooth, quiet and refined, the six-speed automatic transmission responds precisely and quickly to the throttle, providing the driver with willing acceleration in all conditions. The Duratec engine produces 118 kW(164hp) at 6500rpm and it delivers more than 213 Nm between 2000 and 5800rpm.

Based on the test drive feedback, the overwhelming majority (95%) of participants were very impressed, including Bui Minh Tuan.

His thoughts were shared by Dinh Trong Vinh who participated in the HCMC test drive.

The new 2.3 litre Ford Mondeo, the first vehicle produced at Ford Vietnam’s new state-of-the-art Hai Duong production facility, is priced at US$ 50,500 (including VAT).

The Hanoi test drive was held at the International Conventional Center, while the HCMC trial was held at the My Hung Residential compound.

The test drive participants enjoyed the chance to thoroughly check out the new Mondeo.	Many of the test drivers commented on the Mondeo's great handling, performance and suitability for Vietnam road conditions.
