BRENTWOOD, England – UK magazine Practical Caravan has named the Mondeo as one of its Tow Cars of the Year. The Mondeo 163PS 2.0 TDCi Titanium estate was victorious in the 1,575-1,724 kg kerb weight category.

Nigel Donnelly, editor of Practical Caravan, said:  “Our driving judges were very satisfied with the Mondeo’s stability, right up to the legal limit and beyond.  A brilliant estate and a swift and secure towcar.”

The judges were also impressed by the refreshed 2011 Mondeo’s interior and exterior enhancements.
“You could argue the Mondeo didn’t need its recent facelift – it was still one of the best family cars around. But useful improvements have been made to the latest car,” added Donnelly.
