In April, we will begin introducing a new audio conferencing service that integrates with WebEx. This new service provides a streamlined and interactive way for you to conduct audio and WebEx meetings. It also addresses the current audio conference capacity challenges we experience during peak call times.
WebEx with WebEx Audio provides a number of exciting benefits, including automatic call-back from a WebEx meeting to a Ford (7-digit) telephone and a visual icon in WebEx meetings that shows who is speaking. You can also use the new service as audio only, similar to the way you use audio conferencing today.

How this affects you
This upgrade will require a new audio telephone conference number and employee audio host access codes.
- As a meeting participant: Read your meeting notices carefully in the weeks ahead to ensure that you use the correct audio conference number and access codes during the transition.
- As a meeting host: Your audio host access codes will be transitioned in phases during the months of April through July. You will be notified via email once the new service is available for you. You will be able to make the change at your convenience in the days following notification.
The current audio conferencing system will be removed from service by third quarter 2012. Look for more information in the weeks ahead on @FordOnline and specific instructions for your use of WebEx with WebEx Audio via e-mail.
