 Lincoln Gives Clients a Chance to Log-in and Take a “Dream Ride” in the ALL-NEW 2015 Lincoln MKC

​​We’ve all been there. Seeing the latest car at the auto show, previews and commercials of the vehicle are everywhere, and not having the time for a dealership test drive to experience all its features. Lincoln is taking personal service to the next level by bringing the experience to drivers with a virtual test drive of the all-new MKC.

A short, interactive, digital video allows potential customers to become a passenger in the MKC with actor Sam Page as the driver. As they drive through the streets of Los Angeles on a quest to retrieve something the driver believes has been stolen from him, an UNEXPECTED chase begins.

“It’s designed to be a virtual test drive,” said Rachel Roe, Lincoln Communications. “The video demonstrates features like enhanced park assist (park out) and Lincoln Drive Control from a first person point of view.”

The experience is personalized by gender, and features the musical track “Vasoline” by the rock band Stone Temple Pilots. The user has the ability to view this experience via their laptop, tablet, or mobile device.

At the end of the drive, the potential customers HAVE the option to share their drive experience with others via social media. “We’re taking a digital grassroots approach to spread awareness [of the MKC] and are able to track results via the hashtag #LincolnMKC on Facebook and Twitter,” said Roe.
