DEARBORN - Social media has exploded around the Web and Ford has been a significant participant — keeping Ford on top of social media trends. So, now is our time to show you what they’ve been up to and get you involved.
The Social Media Hub is our resource for all Ford employees, agency personnel and retirees who have an interest in learning more about the company’s global social media initiatives and those who want to stay connected with the social Web. On this site you'll be able to learn about some of the basics of social media and social networking, understand what Ford's expectations are of our personnel and participate in a two-way blog exclusive to Ford employees.
We’ll be sharing news and updating you on the progress of our social media campaigns, providing tips, links and relevant trends in the social media world and perspectives from our global team on Ford's social media work around the world.
Roughly two days out of the week, you’ll see a new post from someone on our global social media team. Posts will vary from campaign updates, social media how-to guides, multimedia coverage and more content exclusive to the hub. We encourage you to comment on these posts, just like you've been doing on @Ford Online, and feel free to make suggestions on content that you would like to see featured on the hub.
