Nowadays, the majority of car owners in Indonesia consider their car not only as a means of transportation, but also a reflection of their identity. Consumers’ way of living, such as habits, daily activities, pastimes, attitudes, standard of living, etc., now dictate their car buying decisions.
The shift in car buying trends prompted BosMobil.com, one of Indonesia's leading online automotive news sources, to organise the first Indonesia Car Lifestyle Award. As opposed to merely presenting the list of cars fancied by consumers, the lifestyle-based award is intended to introduce the finest automobiles that consumers are genuinely satisfied with.

Taking place in the grand ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, the 2012 Indonesia Car Lifestyle Awards declared the all-new Ford Fiesta sedan the best in the small sedan category. More than 32,000 people participated in the online ballot, making it the most participated car voting award in Indonesia.
