Moscow – The Grand C-MAX has been awarded the prestigious Golden Klaxon award as the best minivan of 2010. The award was presented by Klaxon, a Russian bi-weekly automotive newspaper.
Fourteen awards are presented annually, covering most car segments in the market. Award winners are chosen by a jury comprising Klaxon professionals.
The awards were first presented in 2001. Ford won its first Golden Klaxon in 2002, for its outstanding achievements in business and its investment in Russia. Since than, the company has received a further five Golden Klaxons (2003 - Focus C-MAX as best minivan; 2004 – Focus; 2006 – Galaxy; 2008 Fiesta; and 2010 - Grand C MAX).
