 Go Further: Ford’s Shani Allison Receives Penn State University’s Highest Honor

DEARBORN - Shani Allison mentors young women and minorities who are considering a major in engineering.  She tells them, “If you’re willing to work hard, then being an engineer is a reachable goal.”   Allison, a project management analyst at Ford’s Product Development Center, speaks from experience.

Allison decided in high school to follow in her father’s footsteps and study engineering.  She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Michigan.
