MONTREAL - Ford of Canada took part in the Rallye International Vert de Montréal (Montreal Green Rally), proudly claiming the Best Overall Fuel-Economy in the electric category. Ford took the opportunity to showcase many green vehicle technologies at the three day event. Joining the winning Focus Electric in the rally were Fusion Hybrid, which placed third in the hybrid vehicle category, and C-MAX Hybrid.
The FIA-sanctioned Montreal Green Rally ran from Friday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 30, and is held annually in Montreal. The rally allows a variety of drivers, from automotive enthusiasts to media, to test out the different features and benefits of green vehicles and technologies.
