MONTERREY, Mexico - Ford of Mexico seeks to encourage university students’ talent through the “Conceptual Design Competition for Human Machine Interface (HMI)”. Industrial Design students from Universidad Iberoamericana and Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey were invited by Ford to submit innovative dashboard design proposals for Ford’s vehicles.
Based on the theme “Design a concept for a 4 inch screen and its incorporation to a conceptual cabin”, students from the last semesters, gradually developed the projects, supported by the classes offered in each university and the advice of Ford’s engineers. Additionally, they followed the four key phases of all projects: Research, Conceptualization, Design Development and Delivery of the Doard.
