CHICAGO - Chicago Stamping Plant and UAW Local 588 teamed up with Be the Match – National Marrow Donor Program to hold a two-day donor registration drive. 

The event was held Friday, Jan. 25 and Monday, Jan. 28 on the employee bridge. 

Nine-year-old LaNyah Aldridge, an adorable local child who needs a marrow transplant, was on the bridge that afternoon to greet prospective donors and hand out Life Savers as a thank you.
