NANCHANG, China – A star-studded event in Nanchang put Ford's New Generation Transit in the midst of the action.
The vehicle, produced by Jiangling Motor Corporation (JMC), Ford Motor Company’s investment in China, was designated as the official vehicle of the 18th Jinji Baihua Film Festival.
The Transit's comfortable interior and leading European technologies secured its place as this year's official sponsor. The vehicle's functional and luxurious cabin provided guests with just the right mix, ensuring easy transfers to and from events.
''The New Ford Transit has been widely recognised for its superb quality and innovative technologies,'' said Robert Graziano, chairman and CEO, Ford Motor China. ''As the official vehicle sponsor for the Jinji Baihua Film Festival, JMC were able to introduce the vehicle to a wide range of potential consumers, while at the same time promoting arts within the community.''
Ford provided 30 units of New Generation Transit to shuttle high-calibre guests to and from the airport, as well as the festival's opening event, artistic party and awards ceremony. The vehicles were also used to bring movie stars, artists and journalists to a variety of film festival activities around Nanchang.
The 18th Jinji Baihua Film Festival – known in English as the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival – opened on October 14 with a star-studded gala attended by some of China's most well-known actors and filmmakers.
