 Free 24-hour Test Drive Program: Ford Lio Ho to enhance Fiesta’s customer experience

TAIPEI, Taiwan — This summer, customers in Taiwan can test drive the 2012 Ford Fiesta, Ford’s award winning small vehicle, for free for 24 hours.
 
Partnering with auto rental companies such as Chailease, Pony and AVIS, Ford Lio Ho recently launched a customer test drive program to attract more people to try out this great vehicle, which boasts class-leading fuel economy, excellent handling, as well as many advanced features that customers in Taiwan want.
 
Starting from July 3, and for the following three months, customers can sign up and put down a 500 New Taiwan dollars ($15) deposit in one of Ford’s show rooms. They can then drive away in a brand new four-door 2012 Fiesta for a whole day from one of the local car rental companies. After using the car, they can get back their deposit after writing a short test drive report and sharing it on various social media sites.
 
The reports completed by the customers will automatically be considered as entries in a short story competition held monthly. The winner of the competition will be rewarded with a Rimowa suitcase or other gifts of equal value.
 
“In order to let customers have a more personal test drive experience, we are working with a couple of famous car rental companies to provide this special test drive program in the summer,” said Anderson Liu, director, Marketing and Sales, Ford Lio Ho. “The main purpose for the program is to let our customers test drive the all-new Ford Fiesta free of charge and free of pressure.”
 
Launched in February this year, the all-new Ford Fiesta is viewed as a game-changer in Taiwan's small car segment where it is targeting a wider customer base.
 
“We hope that customers will have a deeper understanding of the new vehicle and its great features through the fun test drives, and that the program will have them wanting to buy our great products,” Liu added.
 
Customers just need to sign up in Ford’s show room to experience the free four-door Fiesta test drive.
