Formula Drift (Mustang)

  • Vaughn Gittin Jr., driver of the Monster Energy Falken Tire Ford Mustang won Round 6: Point of Impact at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California on Saturday
  • Gittin Jr. is currently first in the point standings with only one race left in the Formula Drift season
  •  

    NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (Fusion)

  • AJ Allmendinger, driver of the No. 43 Fusion, was the highest finishing Ford, coming in eighth in the Air Guard 400 at Richmond International Speedway
  • Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Fusion started the race from the pole position but ended the night in 10th.
  • Matt Kenseth, driver of the No.17 Fusion was the only other Ford driver to finish in the Top 20, coming in 14th.
  • Top five finishers in Richmond include: (1) Denny Hamlin - Toyota; (2) Kyle Busch - Toyota; (3) Jimmie Johnson - Chevrolet; (4) Joey Logano. - Toyota; (5) Marcos Ambrose - Toyota.
  • When the cars head to Loudon for the first race in the Chase next weekend the field will have three Roush Fenway cars represented, tied for the most of any race team.  Greg Biffle leads the way after the re-seeding process, starting in the seventh position, 50 points behind first place. Carl Edwards is seeded ninth, 60 points behind the leader, Matt Kenseth also 60 points behind is seeded 11th.

    GRAND-AM Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge  (Mustang)

  • Billy Johnson and Jack Roush Jr., co-drivers of the No. 61 Ford Mustang GT finished second in the Salt Lake City 200 at Miller Motorsports Park, the final race of the 2010 season
  • Ford finished the year in the GRAND-AM Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge Series second in the manufacturer standings with 303 points.

    World Rally Championship  (Focus)

  • BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team drivers Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila claimed a third place battling podium finish in Rally Japan today after an exciting four-car fight for victory in this 10th round of the FIA World Rally Championship
  • The Finns lost the lead of the rally yesterday afternoon with a mechanical problem and a spin, but recovered superbly on today's final leg in their Ford Focus RS World Rally Car
  • Ford Fiesta S2000 cars took first and second in the S-WRC support category.  Jari Ketomaa and Mika Stenberg beat Martin Prokop and Jan Tomanek by 33.7sec

    NHRA Funny Car Series (Mustang)

  • NO RACE - The NHRA Funny Car Series returns September 16-19 for the O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Nationals at zMax Dragway

    RallyCar Rallycross (Fiesta)

  • NO RACE - RallyCar Rallycross returns October 2-3 at New Jersey Motorsports Park

    • Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the No. 6 Fusion was the highest finishing Ford, coming in fourth in the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Speedway.

    • Max Angelelli and Ricky Taylor, co-drivers of the No. 10 SunTrust Dallara were the highest finishing Ford drivers coming in fourth in the Utah 250 at Miller Motorsports Park, the last race of the 2010 season.
    • Ford finished the GRAND-AM Rolex Series second in the manufacturer and team point standings

    • Ben Crosland, driver of the No. 25 F/X Interchange Mustang won Race 2 at Miller Motorsports Park on Sunday.
