Ford Genk obtained the best score of all Flemish businesses in the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) Equality Survey organised by the Belgian Business Association together with Cavaria, IBM Eagle and ING Gala.

Diversity has been a major focus at Ford Genk for many years; at all levels and in all departments the company pays attention to the individual differences between employees. For instance, when it comes to defining selection criteria, training, performance reviews and assessment programmes, the different values that make every employee unique are taken into account. This focus is highlighted in the make up of employee representation and in an open attitude towards diversity.
