COLOGNE, Germany, Feb. 17, 2014 – Ford Motor Company will unveil a new global vehicle featuring advanced connectivity, safety and driver assist technologies at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at 10:00 CET on February 24.
Ford of Europe also will show for the first time in Europe a new automated research vehicle, which envisions a future of autonomous functionality and advanced technologies after 2025.
Also during Mobile World Congress, the theme of which this year will be “Creating What’s Next”, senior Ford executives will deliver two keynote speeches:
Stephen Odell, president, Ford of Europe, Middle East and Africa, will deliver an address titled “Connected Lives, Connected Cars” at 09:00 CET on February 25.
Paul Mascarenas, Ford chief technical officer and vice president Research and Innovation, will deliver an address entitled “Steering the Automotive Industry into the Future with M2M (Machine to Machine)” at 11:30 CET on February 27.
