 Ford of Germany Goes Further with New Business Customer Concept

COLOGNE, Germany - Ford of Germany is “going further” by launching a new service specifically for fleet customers.

At over 160 specialised dealers around the country, business customers are now benefitting from extended service hours, pickup and delivery service and dedicated sales teams to answer questions about Ford’s car and commercial range as well as financing. Customers will also regularly receive invitations to test drives and will be informed about due servicing or inspections.
 
Ford developed the new business customer concept in close cooperation with its German dealer association. Dealerships will receive special signage identifying them as dedicated business customer partners.
 
Wolfgang Booms, managing director Marketing and Sales, Ford of Germany said: “Our dedicated business partners are an essential part of our fleet customer concept. According to our new brand promise we aim to provide an innovative all-in-one offer for this demanding customer group, ranging from customer support to financing and servicing the vehicles. These specialised dealers will offer our business customers a unique and individual service.”
 
To qualify as a specialised fleet dealer, Ford requires the dealership to have a certain number of demonstrator vehicles (plus suitable showroom space) and stock. In addition, these dealerships will need to employ one full-time fleet expert and offer extended service hours. Servicing and repair work for business/fleet customers will also be prioritised.
