OAKVILLE – Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford of Canada, is one of nearly 200 women recognized in a special edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal. The 11th annual ‘2013 Women Worth Watching’ issue recognizes women executives who share their personal leadership successes to encourage aspiring business leaders and help advance women into leadership ranks. Executives are nominated by colleagues, peers and mentors for demonstrating initiative and earning achievements or accolades within their industries.
“It is such an honour to be recognized and included with this group of outstanding women,” said Craig. “As leaders, we have the opportunity to inspire others by sharing our knowledge and experiences to help other future leaders grow.”
Since joining Ford in an entry-level position in 1986, Craig has held a variety of sales and marketing positions including advertising, product marketing, contests and incentives and field operations. Today, Craig oversees Canada’s No. 1 automaker, Ford of Canada, which continues to show steady growth. Craig says strong business acumen and consistently demonstrating leadership behaviors that people want to emulate is what it takes to succeed in her current position.
