Europe’s media are predicting a very bright future for the all-new Ford Kuga. Here are just some of reviews published over the holiday period.
Auto Express (UK): “Ford’s new Kuga is not only cheaper and bigger than the car it replaces, it also has a lot more technology.... If that’s not enough, it’s also the safest SUV tested by Euro NCAP.”
Bild Cologne (Germany): “Verdict - The Kuga has what it takes to be a winner.”
Coche Actual (Spain): “The Kuga stands out for its comfort and pleasantness. It has better equipment and more insulation from noise and vibrations. It has made a remarkable leap forward.”
Quattroruote Online (Italy): “We admire the talents of this balanced, comfortable and well-powered SUV. The Kuga handles with the feel of Ford’s latest models.”
Le Figaro (France): “Quieter and more dynamic, the new Kuga stands out from the competition for its convenience and safety features, starting with a system that automatically opens the tailgate when you brush a foot under the bumper.”
Ford B-MAX has been crowned Best Family Car by the UK’s Daily Express newspaper. It reports: “B-MAX with its sliding rear doors and missing centre pillar makes access to the cabin incredibly easy. Throw in a decent driving experience and a good level of standard equipment including a DAB digital radio and it shames the likes of the Vauxhall Meriva and other junior people-carriers.”
Ford’s compact multi-activity vehicle has also been named “Family Car of the Year 2013” by Spanish publication Car and Driver.
