 Ford Vietnam Kicks off Ford’s “Start it. Share it. Win it” Campaign

HANOI and HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — Ford has kicked off its hugely popular “Start it. Share it. Win it” campaign in Vietnam, engaging customers in the compact car’s first-in-market smart technologies.
The campaign was launched during all-new Focus Smart Briefing events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 50 media and giving them the chance to explore the many advanced features of the all-new Focus.
These include Ford SYNC®, which provides hands-free, voice-activated in-car connectivity; Active Park Assist, which allows the Focus to parallel park itself; and Active City Stop, which automatically applies the brakes at low speed if sensors detect an obstruction in front of the car.
Each participant will be filmed in real-time during their ‘smart demo,’ capturing their spontaneous reactions. The videos will be uploaded to Facebook, and 16 participants from both northern and southern Vietnam with the most number of views each week will compete in the final round.
During the campaign, participants are being asked to “Start it. Share it. Win it” – meaning to start the all-new Focus, experience Active Park Assist and Active City Stop and share their video with their friends via social media channels, and become eligible to win the all-new Focus.
“The Start it. Share it. Win it is a fascinating campaign that will help raise awareness and build further excitement of the all-new Focus ahead of its official launch in Vietnam. Through the campaign, the class-leading technologies and innovations of the all-new Focus will be showcased, clearly showing how they help put the fun, comfort and excitement back into driving," said Truong Kim Phong, marketing director, Ford Vietnam.
“The all-new Focus is so exciting. I hope there will be many customers joining the campaign to be the first to experience its exceptional smart features before its official launch,” said Tuyet Anh, Cosmopolitan magazine.
The “Start it. Share it. Win it” campaign is taking place in Vietnam until February 17, 2013.
