PRAGUE, Czech Republic – Ford has joined forces with Czech Republic charity Konto BARIÉRY Foundation to help provide transport for disabled people living there.
Ford has supplied Konto BARIÉRY with six nine-seat Tourneo Customs and Ford C-MAX MPVs which will be used in disability care operations. Ford Motor Company, s.r.o. has become BARIÉRY’s new mobility partner.
“We opted for Ford vehicles because they are widely acclaimed for their reliability, flexibility and extremely low running costs,” said Božena Jirků, managing director, Konto BARIÉRY. “I was really surprised to hear from proven and experienced charity organizations that these amazing Ford Tourneo and Ford C-MAX vehicles are the most valuable donation they have ever received.”
The vehicles were purchased with funds raised through from the sales of shopping bags at Globus retail chain.
