MOSCOW - Ford Sollers - Ford Motor Company's joint venture in Russia - has staged its first diversity training course ever held in Russia. Twenty-four employees from St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and Moscow participated in the 2-day event, staged at the company's headquarters in Moscow.
The training - provided by a team from Ford of Europe led by Brigitte Kasztan - emphasised the importance and value of diversity.
The twenty four delegates will be responsible for rolling out diversity training throughout their sites.
"Ford Sollers firmly believes in an inclusive culture in which all employees are valued and able to contribute. Our first 'train the trainers' course marks the start of a major initiative to expand diversity awareness and activities throughout the company," said Mike Warzecha, vice president, HR and Internal Communications, Ford Sollers.
