PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — Ford Motor Company has revealed its world-class lineup of technology-packed and segment-leading One Ford vehicles for the Cambodian market at the inaugural Phnom Penh International Motor Show.
“Ford’s presence at the Phnom Penh Show represents our largest ever lineup for the Cambodia and reflects our commitment to offer customers the cars, trucks and SUVs that they want and value,” said D.J. Simpson, district manager, South East Asia, Ford Export and Growth Operations.
Taking center stage on the Ford stand is Ford’s flagship sedan, the 2013 Ford Taurus. “We have significantly upgraded our signature sedan through attention to detail, and we’re confident it will be a hit with Cambodian customers,” said Simpson.
In the utility vehicle category, Ford is showcasing the Ford Explorer, the 2013 Ford Everest, built at Ford’s new SKD plant in Sihanoukville, and the all-new Ford Transit.
Also on display are the technology-packed all-new Ford Focus with SYNC® and class-leading Ford Fiesta, which features a host of smart technologies and safety features, as well as the class-defining and multi-award-winning all-new Ford Ranger, including the range-topping Wildtrak variants, and the iconic Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck.
Ford customers at the motor expo can take advantage of special offers from Ford dealer partner, RMA Cambodia, including one year of free comprehensive insurance on all models booked at the show.
Ford is raising the bar even higher in Cambodia with the 2013 Ford Taurus, launched late last year. Sourced out of North America, the Taurus is the first car in Ford’s Cambodian lineup to offer the advanced 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine.
The sedan delivers excellent fuel economy, advanced technology, design, refinement and enhanced driving dynamics. “With the addition of the highly evolved Taurus to Cambodia, Ford is spearheading the introduction of high-quality, fuel-efficient cars to this growing market,” said Simpson.
Ford has been doing business in Cambodia for more than 15 years, and has achieved great success in the market since its entry.
Ford and its long-time partner, RMA Cambodia, have opened full-service dealerships and parts and service centers across the country, established manufacturing operations in Sihanoukville, and introduced more than a dozen Ford vehicles to the market.
