 Ford Sales Rise in Germany

COLOGNE, Germany - Ford is strengthening its position in Germany. While the industry volume was slightly down in January, the company registered 15,185 new cars, an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared with the same month last year by. 
 
With a market share of 7.2 per cent, Ford underlined that it is one of the strongest brands in the German market.

Strong January results came from Kuga and C-MAX, with 1,403 and 2,173 units they increased registrations by 33.6 and 17 per cent respectively.
 
The new Focus was also in demand, increasing registrations by 6.7 per cent to 3,852 units.

Industry registrations in Germany totalled 210,195 vehicles in January, a decrease of 0.4 per cent compared with a year earlier.
