 Ford Redefines In-car Connectivity with the Introduction of Wi-Fi in the 2014 Ford Figo

NEW DELHI, India Ford India is bringing in-car technology and connectivity to a whole new level with the introduction of the 2014 Ford Figo, which boasts a host of enhanced industry-leading features, including first-in-class Wi-Fi capabilities.
The 2014 Ford Figo’s unique advanced technological offerings are sure to set new benchmarks in convenience and help keep people more connected to the world. Offered to customers as a special value pack at the showroom price of INR 9,790 (approximately USD157) the 2014 Ford Figo will include a Wi-Fi dongle, color coordinated seat covers and LED interior lighting.
 
In order to enhance the value-for-money, Ford has also included some new features to the ZXi variant and base EXi version of the 2014 Ford Figo. The ZXi will include a driver-side airbag and Power Adjust Mirrors, and the base EXi version will now offer Bluetooth connectivity, 2 DIN Audio -- CD, FM, MP3, Aux-in, USB, four speakers and a roof antenna as part of the standard offering. And the car will be available in a trendy new color, Mars Red, along with the other color options: Kinetic Blue, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Chill Metallic, Panther Black, Sea Grey and Paprika Red.

The 2014 Ford Figo has been launched through a campaign “Smart Is The New Cool” with the goal of targeting younger and tech-savvy customers. The campaign highlights how substantial package (features and interior space), attractive style, mobile connectivity and best-in-class AC and first-in-segment Bluetooth connectivity make it the best choice for a smart customer.
 
The 2014 Ford Figo range will continue to offer a comprehensive two-year or 100,000 kilometer warranty. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Ford will also be offering ‘Happy Pocket Service’ with comprehensive scheduled service at a transparent and competitive price starting at only INR 2,199 (approximately USD 35).
