  • Richard Petty Motorsports driver Marcos Ambrose picked up his first career Sprint Cup victory in the rain-delayed Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen on Monda
  • This is the first Ford victory for Richard Petty Motorsports.
  • Ambrose led 21 laps, and benefitted from a pair of late wrecks to close the gap between he and Kyle Busch, who finished third in a three-way battle for the victory on the final lap involving Brad Keselowski.
  • RPM teammate A.J. Allmendinger had a strong showing despite being spun early in the race. He led eight laps, third-most of any driver, and battled back through the field for an eighth-place finish.
  • Carl Edwards remains on top in the driver’s standings, tied with Kyle Busch. Matt Kenseth (-28) sits in fifth, and Greg Biffle checks in at 13th (-142). Biffle is 49 points back of an automatic Chase berth.
