WARSAW, Poland – Ford Poland celebrated a double success at the recent Poznan Motor Show, taking the wraps off an impressive display of new models and announcing an increased market share in the first quarter.
Among the highlights on Ford’s eye-catching 900 square metre stand were the Fiesta ST and Transit Custom, both making their Polish debut. Also attracting attention was the new Fiesta and the Kuga, together with an EcoBoost engine display.
The show, took place April 4-7 and attracted 86,000 visitors, including 750 journalists, and was featured on all of the country’s main TV stations.
Last year, Ford Poland sold approximately 20,000 vehicles and gained a share of 6.36 per cent, putting it in sixth place in the market. In the first three months of this year, the company registered 5,900 vehicles and achieved a share of 6.88 per cent, moving it into fourth place behind Skoda, VW and Toyota.
