 Ford Philippines holds Exclusive Test Drive Event for Mustang VIPs

MANILA, Philippines — Ford Philippines held an exclusive test drive event in Bonifacio Global City, the city’s premium leisure hub, where more than a hundred guests, including VIP clientele and media got behind the wheel of the new Mustang.

Five units of the Mustang V8 GT Premium were driven around by the guests in a controlled route in Bonifacio Global City at the daylong event.

In addition to the test drive, the VIP clientele along with the general public were treated to a display of various Mustang sports cars from different generations. Apart from the new Ford Mustang V8 GT Premium, the event showcased the following: 1966 Mustang Convertible, 1966 Mustang Fastback, 1967 Highland Green Mustang Fastback, 1967 Shelby GT500 – commonly referred to as “Eleanor” and the 1974 Ford Mustang Cobra II.
“The Mustang is Ford’s most iconic car and we are proud and excited to offer this vehicle to our customers in the Philippines.  This car has indeed made its mark in history as a true American Icon,” said Prudz Castillo, Marketing Manager- Cars. “With its introduction here in the Philippines market, we are confident it will stand out in sales and of course, deliver a thrilling driving experience.”
“The 2013 Mustang GT is awesome! Among the classics, the Shelby GT500E and the '67 Highland Green Mustang fastback are my favorites,” said Andrew Guerrero, one of the guests at the event.
The new Ford Mustang made its much anticipated debut in the Philippines last July 18 and will be available in September in two variants - the 3.7L Mustang V6 Premium and the 5.0L Mustang V8 GT Premium. To date, Ford Philippines has received more than 60 bookings for the new Mustang.
 
Ford Mustang Convertible, 1966: The first-generation Ford Mustang is the original “pony” car, manufactured from 1964 until 1973.
Ford Philippines tapped classic mustang owners in the Philippines to showcase their vintage Mustang sports cars.
   
5 Mustang V8 GT Premiums were available for a test-drive around the luxurious Bonifacio High Street and Serendra in Bonifacio Global City.
 
   
While classic Mustang sports cars were on display, the new Ford Mustang GT Premiums were available for a test-drive to VIP Customers.
Ford Club Philippines attended the Mustang VIP Customer Day.
   
The whole day event catered to more than 100 VIP customers.
